Essential Job Duties: \tTriage all visitors by locking and unlocking the door \tAnswers phone calls from external callers looking to speak to a staff or patient and or inquiring about services offered at Behavioral Health Services at Shady Grove Medical Center \tEscort new admissions and family members to the Behavioral Health unit \tMonitor and order department supplies as needed \tMonitor and re-print department documents \tPerform other clerical duties as needed Minimum Job Qualifications \t High School diploma \tAt least one year of customer service experience \tProficient knowledge and competency to appropriately multi-task and utilize time management skills \tBasic use and ability to navigate computer, electronic medical record, telephone, fax machine, photocopier \tAbility to effectively communicate to patients, family, and other staff members Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:30a-4p Tobacco Statement Tobacco use is a well-recognized preventable cause of death in the United States and an important public health issue.
