As Project Manager, you are responsible for overseeing social media projects from start to completion, working directly with clients to define their projects, handing off projects to the team, overseeing the work, ensuring that projects are executed effectively and efficiently, resolving issues, and keeping projects on-time and on-budget. You look for ways to delight clients, maximize the value they receive from us, and deliver results as quickly as possible. You will be responsible for: Holding kickoff calls, translating the client s objectives into a project plan. Selecting team members and handing off the project. Setting up the project in the ProResource project management system and using the system and our defined processes to manage the project. Gaining client approval of the project plan, drafts, and batches. Reviewing first drafts and initial batches to ensure they meet the client s requirements. Monitoring workflow to ensure the client s needs are met and that the project stays on-time and on-budget. Addressing any issues with the client and team. On all projects, reviewing weekly results with a view towards continuous improvement. On complex projects, aggregating weekly reporting and delivering the report to the client. Holding a monthly strategy call with each client, adjusting the project plan as needed and looking for opportunities to better serve their needs. Wowing clients and converting them into raving fans. Updating templates, knowledgebase, systems, and tools to ensure our documentation matches what we do. Required experience: 2-3 years of project management experience Active professional social media presence on LinkedIn Required skills: Manage projects so they stay on schedule and under budget Talk to senior executives at their level Listen what the client says (and doesn t say), understand what they want to accomplish, and be able to translate that into specific actions in social media Excellent written and verbal communication Strong interpersonal skills Problem-solving Advanced user of LinkedIn & Twitter Cloud software experience: GoToMeeting, Skype, Google Docs, Gmail MS Office: Word, Excel, PPT Required personality: Passionate about producing results for clients Excellent at following through and completing projects Lifelong learner Growth mindset Warm, kind, and caring Tactful Empathic, understands how both clients and team members think Effectively communicates goals and objectives Balances multiple objectives effectively (team retention, client retention, profitability) Lives in email, responds quickly Comfortable working with people remotely, across multiple time zones Proactive, always looking to optimize results Why work with us?
