Summary: Solid Biosciences is looking to hire a Receptionist/Administrative assistant to join our fast paced, mission-driven organization. The right candidate will fill a dual role supporting both our front desk receptionist needs as well as providing administrative and calendaring support for our Process Development (PD) and Human Resources teams. The receptionist will be the face of the company, the first person to greet and welcome visitors in person or on the phone, answering and referring inquiries. The position will also be responsible for maintaining security and access for visitors to our Headquarters'. This position will also collaborate with administrative team and serve as a backup when necessary. Key Duties & Accountabilities: * Answers the main telephone line in a timely and professional manner, directing callers appropriately, exercising judgment and discretion in handling requests * Greets and directs visitors in a professional and welcoming manner while maintaining up-to-date visitor logs * Answers inquiries providing callers and visitors with information such as company address, directions, company website, and other related information * Receives, sorts, and forwards incoming mail; signs for packages and coordinates pick up by relevant Solid associate * May assist in the coordination of ad hoc company functions and events Process Development Team Support: * Schedules and organizes meetings, travel, conferences and company activities for the team * Independently manages calendars for the team requiring interaction with both internal and external contacts * Handles confidential and non-routine information and explains policies when necessary * Prepares expense reports * Performs other related duties and ad hoc projects as required by position Core Competencies Required: * Accuracy, Results, & Reliability * Attention to detail * Communication ? oral, written, and presentation * Initiative * Teamwork Knowledge: Education, Experience, & Skills: * Associates degree and 2+ years' administrative experience preferred or HS diploma and 5+ years' administrative experience required * High degree of tact, diplomacy, and discretion required * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Strong attention to detail * Works as a team or independently * Strong computer skills required; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Ability to prioritize and work diligently in a fast-paced environment Travel Commitment: * No travel requiredSDL2017
