Job Description Designs and establishes management documentation. Authorizes the release of drawings, and software configuration changes specified by management and other functional groups. Provides advice and guidance on methods, procedures, and requirements to individuals responsible for the creation of documentation. Plans and implements methods to improve response. Participates in special studies. May provide work leadership for lower level employees. Under the guidance of a senior level analyst, performs data management tasks as required by contract. Duties and Responsibilities:* Provide day-to-day administration, scheduling and support of Configuration Management (CM) activities for assigned program(s)* Management of the various environments, and ensuring that the necessary code and data revisions are maintained as required* Develop policies, procedures, and guidelines for program administration* Documentation - This role will be responsible for all deployment documentation* Creating new policies and procedures* Coordinating with Application team, Developers, Testing teams, Infrastructure, Management, Build teams and Business* Logging/tracking issues and resolutions* Managing resolutions* Escalations to other teams as needed* Understanding of SDLC, especially the interaction of Release, Change, Configuration, Environment and Build Management* Demonstrated skills in the areas of critical thinking and problem solving* Excellent interpersonal communication skills including listening, oral and written presentation of ideas* Understanding of Continuous Integration and Deployment methodologies* Comfortable working in a dynamic, highly-communicative team environment* Understanding of Agile methodologies Required Skills Requires a Bachelor's degree and 8-10 years relative experience to include 5+ years of Release, Change, or Configuration Management (CM) ? ITIL v3 Foundation or above? Strong leadership skills? Excellent communication skills (written, oral, and interpersonal) with multiple levels of the organization and external customers? Strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills? Productive, effective and supportive team player? Effective time management skills? Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously?
