Must be a team player, forward thinking, self-motivated and have a strong desire to make a difference in the company.Flexible work hours and travel, often driven by client service requirements or demands.JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES* Accountable for the deployment, upgrade, maintenance, availability and capacity planning of the monitoring and management systems.* Discover inefficiencies and problems in the business and find creative ways to improve or correct them.* Collaborate with others to develop requirements for new and better automations, reports and processes that improve service quality and reduce costs.* Create and maintain scripts and SQL queries to automate common application functions.* Design reports to provide valuable data and quality checks for mindSHIFT staff and customers.* Create internal documentation and conduct training so that others may effectively and correctly use the toolset.* Work with operations to onboard new clients into the systems and/or train those on the deployment teams to perform these duties while acting as an escalation point.* Provide escalated support and perform change requests for these applications.* Ensure all in-house developed scripts and system designs are documented properly and completely.* Ensure technical solutions and systems are secure and tested to meet best practice recommendations.* Participate in scheduled client meetings and provide updates and recommendations to team members or directly to clients.* Ensure all billable or non-billable time entries are entered accurately and in a timely manner.QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Experience, and Certifications)* 4+ years of relevant experience.* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred.* Experience in maintaining and managing law firm or legal applications is highly desired.* Demonstrated solid knowledge and experience with systems development life cycle; particularly in contemporary requirements elicitation, analysis, traceability & verification.* Previous experience working in a fast-paced systems integrator or professional services organization.* Project Management Experience (PMP not required) but must be able to manage multiple technical projects simultaneously with minimum oversight.* At least basic scripting experience (batch files, PowerShell, VB).* Experience driving the discovery of requirements and then delivering solutions that meet those requirements.* Familiar with major legal applications such as document management systems (e.g. iManage, NetDocuments, EDocs), document production and related components (e.g. records management, other document assembly tools).KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES* Commitment to providing high quality service, both to internal coworkers and external clients.* Service oriented attitude - will do what it takes to get the job done correctly.* Broad technical understanding as well as the self-motivation to always be learning new technologies and techniques.* Deep understanding of Microsoft operating systems, patching and applications, including knowledge of how they work, common issues and ways to resolve those issues.* Expertise in Microsoft Active Directory and understanding of Group Policy delivery (GPO/GPP).* Strong understanding of Windows Server DNS, DHCP, DFS and Active Directory replication.* Understanding of TCP/IP, SNMP and WMI.* Understanding of databases (primarily MS SQL) and the ability to read and create SQL queries.* Understanding of Microsoft SQL clustered environments as it pertains to law firm environments.* Familiarity with modern datacenter technologies and implementations (e.g. hypervisor technologies, DR, high availability of applications, centralized storage, VDI environments).* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows deployment technologies (e.g. SCCM, MDT, etc.).* Strong organization skills.* Strong interest in metrics and results analysis.* Excellent oral communication skills;
