Position Overview The IAM Manager will require an understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) concepts and trends as well as have relevant IAM business and technical expertise. This Manager is expected to have both technical and soft skills. The IAM Manager should be a proven self-starter with the ability to problem-solve and communicate with diverse project teams from a technical and business perspective. The successful candidate will be a leader with a strong understanding of Operational IAM technologies, controls, policies, processes and best practices. The candidate will have demonstrated people leadership and management experience. Candidate must be a self-starter able to perform IAM operational activities with minimal oversight. Responsibilities include: * Lead a team of 10+ Security professionals supporting Identity Management operational activities and processes * Identify risks and ensure IT General Controls and operational processes are in place to mitigate * Ensure operational excellence in a heavily regulated company that is audited frequently * Work with business partners to gather requirements to enhance IAM tools and processes * Participate technology deployment activities including configuration and custom development of IAM tools and technologies * Work closely with Architecture and Engineering teams and provide input into new technologies * Participate in and/or lead User Acceptance Testing of new IAM solutions * Attract, mentor and retain a team of Information Security professionals * Remain current on relevant IAM market-related trends, tools, and methodologies. * Work closely with Internal audit teams to ensure controls and processes are operating effectively * Keep up to date on current threat landscape and make recommendations to management Qualifications * Typically has 8-10+ years' related experience in IT Operations or Information Security * At least 3 years' experience managing IAM teams or projects * College degree or equivalent work experience;;advanced studies/degree preferred * Ability to communicate with technical and executive audiences. * Experience in gathering requirements, developing documentation and assessing information * Experience in successfully leading and executing large enterprise complex IAM initiatives from inception all the way to operational support * Knowledge of technology trends and developments in the areas of IAM * Familiarity of security and control frameworks such as ISO, NIST, COSO, and ITIL * Security certifications: CISSP, CISM or CISA preferred Closing Statement Today, Freddie Mac makes home possible for one in four home borrowers and is one of the largest sources of financing for multifamily housing.
