Perspecta is an AA/EEO Employer - Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories **Responsibilities** Responsibilities: The successful candidate will have a strong understanding and relevant experience developing technical reference architectures in DoD, the IC, or relvant commercial domain experience. Specific task responsibilities may include: - Develop Reference Architectures in subject areas such as Integrated Security, Cloud Computing, Identity and Access Management, Remote Site, Data Center, and Network Operations - Coordinate with subject matter experts, enterprise architects, and other engineering and development stakeholders to identify and baseline suitable patterns of architecture and /or design elements in core areas of the enterprise architecture including but not limited to: services/Applications, service management, data architecture, Infrastructure, security, standards - Synthesize architecture principles and technical positions that align with Organizational, Business, and Technical Objectives for transforming the enterprise that may be applied to contractual documents to guide and constrain proposed solutions. - Identify technical standards profiles for GEOINT and IT standards applicable to solution architectures to impose interoperability between many and diverse GEOINT and business services solutions - Research emerging technologies and solutions planned in the technology roadmap - Recommend changes in processes, policies, and applicable standards as they relate to the architecture and design principles to ensure that a consistent framework is applied across the agency - Provide technical guidelines and constraints for alignment with the Joint Architecture Reference Model (JARM). - Develop assessments, presentations, white papers and other analyses, as required - Communicate reference architecture concepts and demonstrate value to customers not versed in reference architecture principles **Qualifications** Required Qualifications: - Active TS/SCI clearance - BS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent - 16+ years in Systems Engineering or Enterprise Architecture or related field, with a minimum of 10 years of recent agency-specific experience - 2+ years demonstrated experience developing technical reference architectures - 2+ years developing solution architectures supporting mission critical operational and solutions development efforts - 2+ years? experience with IC, NSG or NGA operations (including mission partners) - 2+ years in architecture development and analysis, requirements and Interfaces analysis - Awareness and use of key community reference models (JARM, FEA-CRM) Desirable Qualifications: - MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent - EA Certification by a recognized Government or academic institution - Working knowledge of agile engineering principles, Scrum agile, or SAFe Agile methodologies - Knowledge of the NGA acquisition process - Excellent facilitation, oral presentation, and writing skills to include reference architecture development - Ability to work independently, within a team, and/or lead a team of other architects/engineers Submit employee referral Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
